Just FYI, I don’t think Bdubs is saying you’re not allowed to use vectors, I think he’s arguing more content/concept than the fact you used a vector.

For example, if someone posts a design that is a dog watching TV on a couch, and a few days/weeks/months later you submit a design of a dog watching TV on a couch, people might have an issue with that – especially if those “coincidences” (which might be just that) happen repeatedly.

ams, just be sure the artwork you submit is original enough to NOT elicit accusations of being ripped off from some other artist’s work. Artists on this site are very sensitive about artwork not being genuine and original. I’m not making any accusations, just trying to give you some helpful advice.
