I do know what you mean about the feeling of touching someone with your art. Though I’m not good at fine-arts (drawing, etc), I’ve always been a wordsmith, and was able to deliver various speeches I’d written to national audiences — able to truly persuade audience members (the judges, at least) of a topic/problem I was seriously concerned about. It was an amazing feeling — that what I did actually mattered.

So yeah, I definitely know what you mean, and it’s one of the reasons I had to tell you. I know that art (like so much) is incredibly subjective, and that no matter how good you are — it won’t be for everyone. Too often, people complain about what’s wrong: they didn’t like your art, they hated the service at the restaurant, etc. People rarely go out of their way to give sincere compliment — whether in relation to service to your boss, or to an artist, so I try to.

Also, I wish I spoke Spanish so I could follow your blog, haha.

Haha, I’m not sweet at all, I’m incredibly jealous (I can’t draw to save my life. I’m creative, just not fine-artistically talented), haha.

But seriously, I think you’re incredibly talented with a style that has this.. innocence to it (perhaps its the lack of CAD-ness, haha). I’m just… blown away by you. It only seemed fair to tell you.

You are… amazing. I would be honored to wear any of your work.
