thank you man. i think here are gathered some very talented people who create good and great stuff, but your “night is watching” is really outstanding. it reminds of the eerie, more subtile chill you might get when you reading something from bradbury(something wicked this way comes) or king. a rising doom climbs up at the edge of town, when night falls – condemed the one who is awake at this witching hour. this describes best what i feel by watching your image.

Thank you! Literature inspires much of my work, that is awesome you picked up on that! Lovecraft is another one of my Lit heroes. Is that your crow illustration? It is absolutely awesome! I’m truly loving the woodcut aesthetic; it is something you don’t see much, and that graphic quality is just striking as hell. Truly original, love it!! i have never took art lessons or went to an art school, everything learned and worked by myself. all with ordinary pen and paper.

i naturally know about lovecraft, but never read his novels yet. only saw some movie adaptions(the masters of horror episode “dreams in the witch house” for example is a fine thing.) but i also like classic authors like ambrose bierce or clark ashton smith(was a close friend of lovecraft).

well, i will check out your works. the “night is watching” is really fantastic, would also make a good poster print.
