Haha, i think ur right about gene, he does seem to be the popular choice for DBH. It’s probably the fascination with the tongue, that’s certainly what got me :P I dunno though, when I think of kiss, i think of that long bloody tongue. thanks for the comment and vote!
ChefRAZ, you’ve got a couple of good designs. Nice. Yeah, I agree, there are definitely several designs that are better than mine. Lucky for me I guess, I have more friends from school, work, church, and family than I could hope for and many of them have responded to my emails to vote.
If you read the letter that DBH sends you as soon as your work is approved for the site, it clearly encourages the artist to “Be sure to tell your friends to go vote for your design! To help you in your attempts at shameless self-promotion, copy and paste this code into an email or blog posting to help people vote on your design. etc, etc….”
I’ve been in the game for a long time and have done lots of work for the industry giants (quiksilver, billabong, o’neill, and more) AND we’ve sold a lot of shirts. Anyway, good luck to you. I could see your style being a good fit for some purposes.
