Ok. Hi. You must not let your “Elephant Rave” just die. I can’t fathom why it hasn’t gotten much attention. Perhaps the style isn’t suited to the general DBH demographic. I don’t know. But there is a market for the style and the design really is awe-inspiringly excellent, so don’t give up on it!
If it’s within the realm of DBH’s rules, resubmit it. If not, trying submitting it at threadless.com, which may have a demographic more congenial its style. Also, the designs submitted to Threadless aren’t on average of the same quality as those submitted to DBH, so you may have a higher chance of having it printed—assuming, of course, a congenial demographic. The only thing about Threadless is that, for better or worse, designs only stay in the running for a week, so timing is important. At any rate, it’s worth a shot—for both of our sakes!
What I would not do, though, is change anything about the design or its placement. Whatever imperfections may or may not exist in either, they aren’t the reason the design has all but tanked on DBH.

Long walks on the beach me 2 hahhaha. So you go from photoshop to illustrator, to photoshop and mess around. Did you do most of the color on photoshop or illustrator. My guess is photoshop. You should do an exercist one. Work that takes forever looks so good tho.

Emptees does have a section for “completed” designs—ones beyond the critique stage (in the designer’s opinion, anyway) but not yet printed—where you can submit your design and provide a link to vote for it (in the description). So do it! :]
I’d also submit your LRRH design there, partly because it too is excellent, but also because it attracts more people to your Elephant Rave design—which, if you haven’t noticed, has gotten a spike in votes as a result of your latest submission.
Lastly, I also found a site called springleap.com, which is apparently the European equivalent of Threadless. Incidentally, the current winning design there is one I saw scrape by with a barely printable score (2.5ish) at Threadless just a week ago—implying, among other things, a different demographic. So that might be something else to look at as well!

yeah. you shot both of us in the foot by changing its size and placement, which i explicitly suggested that you not do—not least because i want it precisely as you had it.
Well, what’s done is now done and I’m out of advise to offer you about how to get that design printed.
The best thing you can do for yourself right now, though, is submit your LRRH design to Emptees if you haven’t yet done so. It enjoyed a pretty good start, but lost momentum and has been stalled at 53 votes for several days now, so posting it at Emptees seems like it would be a good way to give it a jump start.
Also, you might want to consider commenting on some more recent designs here on DBH. Don’t do any of that “Check out my design” crap; just give honest comments where you feel compelled to do so. That at least will give viewers of more recent submissions an added opportunity to check you and your designs out.
thanks a lot for your thoughts on my Roller Coaster T… i agree that a lot of the detail is unfortunately lost on the thumbnail.
way to put a positive comment on “hustler musik” and then start a forum insinuating that the artist has no integrity. …and then delete your original positive comment. perhaps you are the one without any rectitude. way to go.
