Superfex, by the links you sent me, i found out that Username actually ripped this artwork, and let me build off of it without telling me it wasnt an original.

I just e-mailed DBH Support and asked them to remove it for fear of being labeled as a ripper.

He’s some guy that used to go to http://uselessgfx.cx.la

He won LAOTM there (large art of the month)with the squid thing. We all thought he made it custom, and i asked him if i could make an outline of the squid and fill it in with what i wanted. He said ‘ok’, so i took the LP and rendered it. Then i filled the outline in and put everything i wanted in it. Then, i put it on another pic i vectored (the sushi takeout thing), and submitted it as a t-shirt design.

But then you accused me of ripping it and gave me links to the real squid designs. This confounded me because i had never seen the pics on deviantart. So i asked DBH to delete my design because i didnt want to look like a ripper.

I then went back to uselessgfx, and reported username. My friend Dj_Platano, then said to username, "Wow. What a queer". And that’s the last i’ve heard about the situation.

But, thanks for telling me about real versions.
