Thanks for the encouragement and for checking out my site! You really need to have some sort of system in place where you (optionally) get a message when somebody comments on your profile, because I never would have noticed yours if I hadn’t been updating my profile. Were just cracy busy. Holly is working 60 hours a week. I’m working 50 and going to school at night. We want to start trying for a child really soon so that will be exciting. It’s a mad mad world. Hi! Love this site, but I’m a bit sad that the tees are so big. The small is too big (wide) for me, and I’m really not that small. Is it possible to add a XS-size? Had to spend some time at the sewing machine to make my last order fit.
Hey, im just wondering, i wanna upload a design but its like just an object so do i have to make the bakcground transparent for it to work or can i upload it as a psd?
I must say that I am rather jealous of this business set up you guys have here. It’s pretty ingenious. How difficult is it to run such a beautiful entity? How did you get started? What kind of history do you have in the business world? Do you have any advice for young aspiring entrepeneurs?

Hey, I’ve been thinking on some improvement on your site. Why don’t you make a counter on winner accounts to count total shirts sold, and also on winning designs. There would be good to have some kind of forum, and an option to make links to names (for example if I’d write :Jason: it would make a link to you like: Jason) in comments. hey, congrats on the fantastic site! this must be the coolest way to make business ever. i wanted to share a few ideas of new implementations: 1) designers could choose to feature 1 to 3 of their own designs on their own profile page. these designs would have a special location or just a thicker border around them with an arrow saying featured for example. this way designs that are quality but haven’t catched people’s attention at first could still have a chance to be noticed instead of disappear in the jungles of old designs forever. 2) well, i forgot about the second. so congrats again! you rock!
ok, i remembered the second one, so: 2) designs that have been submited on the same day, since they appear on the site almost simultaneously, could show up on the newest submissions in a random order every time you refresh the page. i think this would be a lot more fair to everybody. since those designs are standing there for an equal amount of time yet those submited earlier, although on the same day and therefor accepted at the same time, fall down quickly to the bottom of the page and get lost easier. random order for designs of the same day would eliminate this problem completely. sorry for spamming this much! just clearing my head out of ideas :)

3) those featured works could then also be those that show up as “more by this artist” when viewing any of the artists works. would be cool if i could decide for myself which works to feature there
i think these features will become more and more important as the site grows and more and more artists will have many submissions behind them. some clean up options would be cool not to let it all grow into a big mess. thanks again for this place! hope business is going good, too
I just wanted to say thanks for doing such a wonderful job on my design. I just received it on Thursday and it looks great. Your shirts are always terrific quality and I’ve been really impressed by all the ones I’ve ordered so far… the overall quality and attention to detail. Anyway, congratulations on building such a cool site, and thanks again.

SO i have a suggestion or two im going to throw out there. First, we should have a discussion board, so its easier to see what people are thinking, and its an easy way for you to reach the community n’est pas?
secondly, you guys should find a way to stop all the negativity of the site man. I get that people will be jelous, and it is competitive, but some of the stuff that goes on is ridiculous. Shouldnt you try to remove some of the comments and obvious stolen illustration? Its misguiding at times. I think maybe more moderation is required.
Other than that, Im having a good time. Sweet site.

I submitted a shirt yesterday and told a few of my friends about it, they at their own whim decided to send an email out to a bunch of my friends talking about the shirt. A lot of kids voted for it and a few of them decided to vote for it a few times. It’s turned into a lot of complaints on the comments wall of my photo.
I just wanted to apologize for whatever fuss it caused…
Hey, I love the site but I’m having a little trouble. The background doesn’t show up, and the site display is all messed up. Is there some display setting that I messed up? I don’t really know what happened because I just came to the site last Sunday and it was all screwed up.

Just want to thank you deeply. You are one of few business’s who are ushering in the new light of tomorrow.
It’s been almost a decade without outlet for my work, design began as a curiosity , and let to a entire way of being. I am a digital native i live here in this world, almost exclusively , like most of us here.
Everyone else thinks i am insane lol, but clearly have no vision to the future and the net’s absolute presence in “tomorrow”, which is here now. For us Gen X’s.
It makes me endlessly proud, just knowing this exists, and has dramatically altered my inner sense of self.
I speak for almost everyone here, when i say we are the leading edge of human evolution.
I cannot wait to submit my work, again thankyou thankyou thankyou, so so so thankful, more then i think any of you would truly ever know.
I have been able to tell my aging father, who has been riddled with concern about myself, just explaining this site to him, has allowed him to understand me. I have been a new person with a new found sense of identity and purpose, thanks you yourself and the teams here realization, and that is all without making a single penny,
This business model has directly impacted my quality of life ,saved me from insanity and have restored health of my now aging parents, and i kid you not when i say this is all absolute truth.
I feel like i have been waiting all my life for this!, along with all the other visionaries.

I am sooo glad I found this website, it’s become one of my fav sites on the net. Is there any way you could add a search bar on the site? Its slightly hard to navigate back to old content and would help to have a search bar to find favorite shirts and artists.

Firstly let me say you all have some really cool tee-shirts. Unfortunately, I have never been able to purchase anything from DBH due to the fact that you all NEVER have sizes (in particularly Medium) in the tee shirts i want in stock. Or you’ll never have the tee shirts I want at the same time (which makes free shipping for large purchases a futile gesture). Is there any reason for this? Is this just bad market research on your part? I don’t think i need to check your site daily to see what is available and in what sizes. I recently received an email saying that concentric downpour was reprinted and by the time i checked mediums was out of stock. Furthermore, why can’t i custom order any shirt that DBH has previously printed? I think it would be cool if you offered such a service as well as allow people you actually voted for a design to have the option of purchasing it before others or preordering it if it does win. Additionally, would it not be beneficial to have larger quantities of certain items and smaller quatities of others based on demand? Finally, is there a list of any tees that might be coming back? Cough Refraction and Concentric downpour (M) Cough. Thank you.

Jason…how’s it going?! Listen, I’m pretty disappointed with the Lil Wayne design contest. First, being late to annouce winners is “human” error…granted. But SERIOUSLY…WHO DID THE JUDGING?!?! 2nd place winner was aight…but the others had no creativity and missed out on what the contest was about. Dont get me wrong..nothing against the designers. Just that the designs were below average.[I’m thinking] If you listen to Lil wayne, you will be a little more inspired than a big ass cat and his name on a shirt. On a more positive note, I enjoy the site. I’m fairly new and really like what you all have going on.

Nooooo. While that would mean I’d automatically have two prints, haha, I still think it’s better that the decision isn’t based on just votes.
Yea, i agree it shouldn’t be based on just votes. But the designs that has 100 votes or more usually has execution, rich detail, & some thinking outside of the box techniques (more than usual). I meant They should judge only the designs that has past 100 votes (only), not automatically decide that it’s winner. And 4 the good designs that hasn’t past that # yet, they should work hard on getting it past 100.
