I find it wierd how a lot of people would take offense to your comment, but these are the exact things I’m looking for! Looking at it now, i could make the whole picture bigger and wrap it from left to right, so ‘but I have promises to keep’ is on the front and the picture progresses to the back for it to say ‘and miles to go before I sleep’ I love to hear feedbackfrom so many people to help make one’s designs better: the more opinions, the easier it is to see what people like! Thanks again!

Thanks for the comment. That’s exactly what I asked for in my profile… for ppl to critique as much as possible. You were right as well… But it’s too late because I’ve already submitted my design :(

BTW try using a real tee as your backdrop for design overlaying, looks cooler and makes it easier to imagine oneself wearing it. I’ll shut up now…heh, heh

by the way, it is not that I couldn’t decide which one to use, I had showed the design to many people and heard that there were a lot who liked it both ways. In the end it is DBH that decides how to print it and have been known to make final changes. My choice was in the larger picture, but with the extra room I merely presented another option for those who have a different opinion on the placement so they can visualize it. I do appreciate the positive comments and the feedback, in order to not make it look like I cannot make up my mind I guess it is good to stick with only my first option

the problem is that people are afraid to because it can hurt their chances of getting votes…but there is a different in giving a critique that has merit and something positive in it and not the kind that just attack someones work

I don’t think that you’re the bad guy at all! People need criticism like that! It’s how it really is in the real world, and getting opinions from other people only makes it better!

Their loss. When someone submits a design, someone is going to think differently than the creator. That doesn’t one side wrong, they’re just giving they’re input. Who know, maybe they’ll see what they were talking about, like your comment about placement.

Sorry I didn’t get back to you about your question that quick…

It kinda depends on which one you’re talking about. On MU51C, I just found a bunch of blood splats online, put them in one layer, and converted the color to green. In ‘The Woods are Lovely, Dark, and Deep’, I found some hi-res pictures of splats, changed the shape to how i wanted, and drained the color. With ‘Looking For Answers’, I made a selection in the shape of a sunburst, got more hi-res splats, and cut out what wasn’t in the selection. To get that look, I put some colors on top of each other, and I erased some so other parts can show through. Any other questions, just ask.

It’s not that the other one’s were worse, but some of them were obviously created as a photoshop picture and later put onto a shirt. The splatter looks like it has been design for a shirt only.
