Hey Jimiyo! Nice win over at Boardpusher.com!
My shop and name over there is BEAST SLAYER or BEASTSLAYER…not sure…but my deck design was “Ta$ty” a few contests back….Gotta say I love your Revelations tee too…Yeah!
I love your revelations tee design but I’d like to know what does the symbology mean.
Thanks!
dude! check out threadless.com and the other sites! youd make crazy loot with your art!!!
thank you for that short little amazing story. hahaha… I’m actually from Georgia, and just moved to Chattanooga because it’s where my fiance, now wife, lived. I great up and went to college in GA though.
Sorry to gush, but you do really tight stuff. Great style and solid skills, man.
Hi, I love your designs! checked your site, and I’ve got so much inspiration! You work only in PS? or illustrator? I always get annoyed by stupid vector lines :S anyway gogo! keep the good work on!
No Problem man, you’re work warrants the praise! Thank YOU for the compliment. Dark is definitely good!
Haha Thanks man, I’m glad to see someone here has a sense of humor. I think everyone else who saw that vowed never to vote for me again. Your designs are pretty radical by the way.
Ha ha ha, thanks! I dig your work, even though it’s not really my style. Although I would definitely wear that Darth Vader one… too bad about copyright laws.
Rikki and I both like (LOVE?) Darth! And we both have good taste (and write t-shirt blogs), so if there were some way to sneakily make that into a t-shirt…
Yeah, actually I love your style too. I need the same, tutorials, from you how to make cool vector stuff. maybe msn? it’s my e-mail adress. To be true, I don’t want my designs to be so sketchy… Sometimes I like the look of rough things, but if you mean sketchy as if it looks incomplete, I’ll take it as a compliment :P Just because I call them complete (for me) I use mechanical pencil and scan in, then PS. (I select black parts (select color range) then I convert it into curves) U?
Ha ha ha, it’s always good to hear that somebody likes my blog, even if it’s from the same person multiple times within a few days :) Seriously. Also, yeah, I have the same avatar in a bunch of places. Glad you like it as well as my blog :P And on Emptees it still has scene hair from that one time… and I haven’t gotten around to changing it. But did you know: it’s also a t-shirt? Actually, Jimmy printed some of them after our first printer shafted us. I’d link to it, but apparently DBH isn’t cool with putting links in comments. Just replace ‘blog’ with ‘www’ in the URL for Fantastic Bonanza…
Oh, and I’ve been toying with the idea of doing a semi-regular ‘Artist Spotlight’ or something on FanBlog. I think I’d like to have a standardized set of questions, and maybe a different random one for each artist. Would you be up for that?
Just Australian ;)
I know a French Canadian… he’s pretty nuts whilst being very laid back. it’s a strange and wrong combination :)
Jim, you have a great designs. & U deserved to win. Congrats friend. Nice to know U
That area between Kanab and Page is pretty nice (I lived through Idaho/Utah/Wyoming for a while) Your newest print is tremendous work. and I was happy to read about how long it took you to make it since before reading it my mind was completely blown.
-excellent work (jealous)
Congrats on another print you fucker! haha You’re gonna go over your money targets this year man! It’s inspiring dude keep ’em coming.
