learn especially the nuances of the Live Paint and Live Trace in AI – it will save you a TON of time! (I’ve seen people live trace full color art and spend hours trying to fill in gaps or tweaking anchor points. you don’t have to!)

Apathy: in silkscreening, the gradients can’t be the super smooth gradients we would normally do in print or web design. They have to be made of dots. To give you an idea, look at any cartoon magazine. Usually a lot of the shading is made of tiny dots. There are a lot of free downloads on the internet if you search for things like “free vector gradient halftone” or “vector halftone download” stuff like along those lines.

P.S. Enjoying your nationalized healthcare? We are a mess in the states. A literal disaster. We are completely divided right down the middle. One half is the uber uninformed stupid people, and the other half are people who actually are progressive and can think. I am jealous you are in Canada!
