Thanks for the constructive comments. Well, I was going for a design that was “out of the box” thinking…not the usual face paint design. I remember KISS during their later years stepping away from the face paint and being accepted more for their music and giving crazy shows…never seen a live performance but have seen old concert footage and performances. I wanted to do a design that wasn’t the regular “KISS” concert tee…something that was a bit more conceptual and aesthetic with a modern style to it. The statement I’m saying with the design?…probably that girls lust for the “love gun” as much as guys lust for the “lips in between hips”. I can understand there maybe a little bit a generation gap between our tastes and styles. My style is more of stuff that you might find at digitalgravel.com or karmaloop.com..I like to push the envelope a bit/get a reaction. I can understand the remark about “KISS design as an afterthought…” but truthfully, that’s the design I envisioned when I thought about what design I should do…a gun with typography that says “Love” all over inside (and small hearts)…and a girl licking it. I had different ideas about how I was going to incorporate the KISS logo…fresh KISS shoulder tattoo with red swelling around the ink? KISS ring? Kiss earring? Although I was really leaning towards the freshly inked “KISS” tattoo…I went with the bandana cause I thought it gave her a bit of a love desperado look…a heartless chick all about getting “love gunned”. but thanks for your constructive comments!
