I’m not sure why but I think a lot of the artists here really hate to see a shirt do well because new people come in. It’s odd because by telling your friends about your shirt, you’re generating interest in the website and helping the artists here with exposure. 1 out of 5 of my friends have found shirts they really love here. Don’t be discouraged…although i am. I really like your design as well! Hope people come around.

how illustrator has the similar color swatch thing.
it is really helpful for complimentary color use.
i used to ONLY use photoshop to do stuff like this haha.

thanks a lot for your votes and comments! as for how i put the design on a real shirt: i’ve been asked this before and i wonder why because it’s so simple, just go to the dbh shop, find a shirt you like that’s not printed over too heavily, bring it into photoshop and clean it with the clone stamp and other tools. you don’t even have to do that too perfectly because once you put your own design on the shirt it catches all the attention and the mistakes done on the shirt are not visible. good luck!

no dude i have no idea what is going on.

and you know what i think… they MIGHT be printing all of the designs to see what looks best on an actual t. but that would seem silly. i have no clue. its been 2 weeks now hahah.

i’d agree with collisiontheory, after “bold is beautiful” it’s safe to say that they can print anything, good luck :)

tree as an element has been used in various tee designs. i happen to be one of those who really admire the texture that it creates. hence, this is my version of it. and to answer your question, no. green winter was not my inspiration. thanks for the comment and the vote..:)

always use the “save for web” option with adjusted quality settings to export your files from illustrator and photoshop, that should keep the file sizes low :)
