Inconsistent Sizing

I have bought well over twenty shirts from this website, and I love all of them. But over $100 worth of those shirts I can never wear because half of the larges fit like mediums(too short in length, arms, etc). I’d buy extra large but that’s just too big. Does anyone else have this problem?
It’s sad because I find so many awesome shirts that I’m so hesitant to buy due to this issue. I hate to complain but I always had such quality when ordering from DBH.

Just contact them. You’re kind of lucky in a way, as you can get Mediums if they’re too big or XL if they’re too small. I wear Smalls and when they’re too big there’s nothing I can do about it, haha.
Also, do you know the size difference between the Original Tees and the Perfect Tees? They’re quite different.
yeah, i finally got the perversions of a paranoid populace shirt and even though it said small it fit like a medium or large, i ended up just giving it to my brother but now im more hesitant to order shirts, i don’t want to have to deal with customer serves i just want a product that ships as advertised
I think the sizing inconsistencies went away with the perfect tees. I have about 12-15 perfect tees now and they all truly fit perfectly.
I have had similar issues with inconsistencies, but not too often. I always get XL and sometimes they feel and look more like L. It doesn’t matter all that much. I still wear them even if they are a little bit smaller than expected. I never put anything in the dryer for fear of shrinkage (that’s with any shirt I own from any company).

my problem happened this past month with a “perfect” tee
I personally seem to have the greatest issue with black-colored Perfect tees. Of all of the shirts I have ordered from this site, I find that I consistently have issues with the fit on black-colored shirts. They tend to fit too tight in the shoulders, and are a bit short in the length. Perhaps I have just had some bad luck, but every black Perfect tee I have purchased seems to suffer from this ailment. I find that a typical black medium runs about 2 inches shorter than a comparable white or burgundy-colored shirt.
Please note I state this as anecdotal experience; this is just what I have found.

I just wanted to say that having mine taken in a bit is really working for me. You should look into it for those shirts you really like. Still hoping for that extra small, though, before I order more shirts.
I am actually a proud owner of a men’s medium Crustacean! and I love it. in the past I have ordered other sizes simply because I really loved a shirt that was sold out of mediums and I was too impatient to wait for reprints. The sizes I have ordered seem pretty acurate and proportionally correct, and since you can always return the tees, I would just order what you like.
Hm, I only buy smalls, haven’t counted how many but probably about 20-30 shirts, and so far I guess I’ve been lucky with both styles of their tees. All fit great.
I’ve measured them and compared each shirt to the sizing chart, out of the 8 listed, only 1 measured out. There is 1 extra not listed(zebrart).
2 of the shirts are original tees, the rest are perfect tees.
SkyFlyier has a length of 31 inches, but the width is completely off. It came with no tag either.
I’d like to add as a disclaimer that I never put any of my shirts into the dryer

I have bought about five new DBH perfect tee’s and I think one has been a bit smaller than usual…. other four fit PERFECTLY…. but I definitely know what you are talking about, and I never dry mine in the washer….
Well seeing as how I have purchased more shirts from this website than I can count, it was only a matter of time until my bad eggs added up :D
My Perfect Tees fit well (I only have like 3 though), my Original Tees go between fitting really well and being too big.
I’ve had similar issues with many shirts, including Crustacean! and others you haven’t listed.
However, if I have an issue I just contact Andrew at customer service, and he has always corrected the issue. If I buy a medium and for some reason that run of blanks runs smaller than normal, I just have them exchange the design in the next larger size. I am now in the habit of taking the shirt out of the package and measuring, just to check.
And, by the way, I have never run across a company with better customer service. They have always corrected whatever issue I have, and I’ve always felt I’m given personal service. Excellent!
