I thought this was funny and something many of us could relate to. I know I’ve heard this spiel before.
You have to pay a membership fee for that I believe. But anyway, I haven’t seen many of those that are actually advertising car dealerships, that would be weird.
lol @ “how does that sound, you massive cock? – cue audience laughter”
Reminds me of this one

Same concept, but with cats! :D
Fortunately, I’ve never had anyone ask me to do a website for free.. but when I tell them my rates, they usually just won’t reply.

Haha, it was the same words.
I’ve had people ask me to do designs for them and instead of paying me for the design they would let me share in the profits of the shirts or be a partner in their company or whatever. Which is a lame deal, because a company who can’t even afford to pay it’s talent probably doesn’t have it’s shit together enough to make a decent profit (or even get the shirts printed in the first place).
8 Ways to drive a graphic designer mad

*“5-Chosing your words
When describing what you want in a design, make sure to use terms that don’t really mean anything. Terms like ‘jazz it up a bit’ or ‘can you make it more webbish?’. ‘I would like the design to be beautiful’ or ‘I prefer nice graphics, graphics that, you know, when you look at them you go: Those are nice graphics.’ are other options. Don’t feel bad about it, you’ve got the right. In fact, it’s your duty because we all know that on fullmoons, graphic designers shapeshift into werewolves.”*
pretty cool info:,thanks for sharing thestray :)
that’s a great one. I’ve actually had people offer to pay me $25 for a logo identity because they noticed on Craig’s List that other “artists” were charging that.
There are also a disproportionate amount of human beings on this planet who have no effin clue what they want.
That last idea sounded pretty good. :D
There’s companies that will really do that. They give you a car for free, but they wrap the whole car in one big advertisement decal.
