just wondering how other people get their designs done. I’m not a tablet guy simply because i can’t afford one right now, and the parental units don’t understand how having one would benefit me, but i make do with good old fashioned pen, pencil, and paper , and of course, a little paint tool Sai magic, as photoshop (legally) is ridiculously expensive.

i’ve heard of people using, intuous, and Wacom, and Bamboo and cintiq etc. i have used a tablet before, didn’t really like the experience, but it’s probably like trying to drive with the seat at all the wrong settings, just awkward. Eventually i’ll get a tablet, and it might possibly ease some of the steps i take to design, but i’m quite content without one, and i like to think i’m not half bad
