copyright issues

So i have a design in which I used donald duck as a reference for one of the characters, i didn’t copy and paste the picture but instead re-drew it on paper. It still looks like donald duck but he’s in completely mad up attire and the beak doesn’t really look the same however, they do still look similar…..... does anyone know if it will get me in trouble

Hi,
Using any Disney character in a design is risky, even with major changes you still have to make sure it is a parody of their character. Honestly DBH probably wouldn’t risk printing anything with a Disney character in it.
