I believe the color limit for an all-over design is 3 (Max of 4 if really necessary), or 8 for a standard or over-sized. The way artists make it look like 256 different colors when they only really use 3 or 4 is with halftones.

Ah, yes, I do know of the halftones. But I don’t know how to take halftones and make’em look decent with halftones. Haha.
