Nice client to work with. I did a few things for them and they sold like hot cakes so i hope DBH made $$$ off this collaboration.

Not all the shirts are the same. Rainbow Connection is better from DBH, missing portions of the design at UO

They shouldn`t be allowed to do that. DBH having copyright they shouldn`t modify the design

I really dont want dbh designs on such a big site.
I guarantee you 3/4 people in my school will be wearing these designs.

Didn’t I just see this one on DBH? ...so you as the orig. artist are you getting commission on sales sold there?

If you look at the rules page down the right sidebar it tells you the following

“Sales Outside of DesignByHumans.com
(sales made through DBH dealers)

SILVER

1,000 total shirts sold = an additional $100 USD
When your shirt has sold a total of 1,000 units, you will receive an additional payment of $100 USD.
GOLD

2,000 total shirts sold = an additional $100 USD
When your shirt has sold a total of 2,000 units, an additional payment of $100 USD will be sent to you.”

So basically you are getting 1/5th of what you would normally get through DBH.

Yeah, retail is a good thing. There’s a chance for those artists to make a good amount of royalties on there designs.

So can anyone comment on how UO is able to alter designs like “Rainbow Connection?” I’m assuming it’s with DBH approval… but I guess I can’t understand why such an alteration was desired.

I can’t find this anywhere on DBH.
