Q: As your first win at DBH this is a pretty big contest to make your debut, did you think your design would be selected?

A: At the first time I wasn't sure if my design would be selected because there are so many cool designs entries. But when I realized that my design style is different from the others, I started to believe my design could be selected. I am very pleased.

Q: The placement of your art was a big part of the designs success, was composition something you considered a lot for this contest?

A: Placement of artwork is very important thing. I purposely placed my design bigger and in the middle of tee, hoping people would be interested to see that.

Q: Tell us a bit about your design process, how did this design begin?

A: Everyone has a different process when creating artwork. This is the process that I had for this contest. I started by making some rough sketches, then I picked the best one. Next I worked to make the outline more clear until I was happy with each part. Outlines phase is completed! Next I did the shading and inking according to predetermined outlines. Finally I go to the coloring phase.

Q: You choose Batman as your focal point, was that always your intention?

A: Batman is main character and I wanted him to be a point of attention of the viewer.

Q: You also choose a very limited color palette for your design, what was your thinking behind that?

A: I adapt to the needs of the design itself. Because the theme is dark, I use very limited colors. I also am aware of the printing process and I wanted to make it easy to print.

Q: Which of the other many amazing pieces of art in this contest did you like and why?

A: I really like design called "Time to fight" by Carbine. This is a very cool design, but it also lets us know that Batman meets a formidable opponent to make him have to fight harder in the movie. Very cool.

Q: Your design works for this movie but also as a stand-alone image for all Batman merchandise, was that intentional?

A: Yes. I hope this could be used for all Batman merchandise and not just The Dark knight Rises movie.

Q: What do you plan on doing with your winnings?

A: I will tell everyone that I am the winner of the coolest contest held by Warner Bros. and DBH. Also the prize money I will use to buy a new computer and other work equipment to help me design more.

Q: When you go and see the movie, do you hope to see someone in the audience wearing your tee?

A: Yes! I would feel so proud to see someone in the audience wearing my tee

Q: Finally, If you got the chance to design for Warner Brothers again, which of the Batman characters would you most like to create a design for?

A: Batman the dark knight.
